Welcome to the NCBS Member Forums! Here members of The North Carolina Barbecue Society can communicate their thoughts, opinions and recipes with other members by clicking on the Forum links below. Member information posted here is kept private from the general public, and members can edit their profile at any time to change their privacy settings to their liking.

Since the NCBS Member Forum is not a newspaper or food magazine and none of our members have been hired by NCBS as “Food Critics," we WILL NOT accept or publish any negative comment about a restaurant, BBQ Pit or person. We will leave that to those who have been employed by others to be critics.

If a member has found a “Treasure” and wants to share it with the membership, we will be most happy if you post such a find. But if a member had a bad experience and wants a platform to vent their spleen, this is not the vehicle. We will subscribe to the admonishment that Thumper Rabbit’s mother gave young Thumper in the movie Bambi, to wit: “Son, if you cannot say something nice just be quiet and pat your foot.”

We at NCBS hope our members will enjoy the Forum and find it another useful tool of being a member of NCBS. Let us never lose sight that we are “The Fun Tribe” and membership in NCBS is all about “Good Food, Good Friends and Good Times."
